Mountain Wedding Photography with Chris Loring
One of my 101 Goals was to create a referral list for other types of photography that I don’t do myself. When my friends and clients ask me about wedding photography, that is one I have zero problem referring out to the experts! One of those experts is my amazing friend Chris Loring. She is a photographer specializing in sentimental and natural outdoor Colorado weddings. I just love her approach that your wedding day should reflect you and let you celebrate with your loved ones in a natural setting without a lot of extra fluff or meaningless details. I know when I got married I was overwhelmed by all the “stuff” you could have or do at your wedding, and it’s so refreshing to know you can have a beautiful and special day (with absolutely stunning pictures) without worrying about any of that.
Chris and I have a lot of things in common – we are both animal lovers and have volunteered at the shelter together (she loves when you bring your dog to your engagement photo session!) She also loves sentimental details and heirloom items incorporated into her couple’s wedding day, instead of having things just because they are trendy. I have never been one to follow trends either, and I wish I had known Chris when I got married because she would have loved my bouquet made from brooches collected from my family members. Also because she takes totally gorgeous photographs like these!!
Can you tell we also share a love of the water? Chris will hop into lakes and rivers with you, or climb on rocks to get the best shot with the stunning Colorado scenery as your backdrop. For all my brides and soon to be engaged ladies – if you are getting married in our beautiful state, Chris is the photographer for you! You can check out more of her work and get to know her a little better on her website, and you can also take it from me when I say she is seriously rad.
Happy Wedding Planning!
